Menopause Support Group

This group has been created to provide a safe and supportive space for wahine to learn more about menopause, connect with others, and explore ways to support wellbeing during this stage of life.
The sessions will cover topics such as:
Understanding menopause and hormonal changes
Nutrition and lifestyle support
Stress management, brain health, and emotional well-being
Sleep, movement, and self-care
A yoga session
Natural approaches and practical strategies for managing symptoms using Rongoā Māori
The group consists of four sessions with four different speakers. It is a welcoming, non-judgemental space where participants can share experiences if they feel comfortable, ask questions, and gain support and knowledge from both facilitators and other wahine.
Dates: 10th June, 17th June, 24th June, and 1st July.
Time: 10 am-12 pm (each will run between 1.5 to 2 hours)
Location: Te Whariki Aroha, 80 Tūwharetoa Street, Taupō
