Menopause Makes – Voices in Fabric
About this Event
Menopause Makes – Voices in Fabric
A free creative workshop exploring menopause through art, conversation and creativity.
Menopause Makes is a community arts project inviting people to come together to explore the menopause journey through making, sharing stories and creative expression.
Whether you're experiencing menopause, from peri to post, whether naturally or through medical treatment, or you're supporting someone through their menopause journey as a partner, family member or friend, you're warmly invited to take part.
No artistic experience is needed.
Voices in Fabric – Print & Pattern Workshops
Working with artists Ann Middleton and Rakha Madahar, we'll use fabric, colour, pattern and mark-making to create unique textile designs inspired by our own experiences, thoughts and conversations around menopause.
These designs will become part of a large collaborative walk-in cardigan installation, celebrating the many different stories and experiences of menopause.
