Mend & Make New: Creative Clothing Repair & Embroidery - 6 Week Series

🧵 Mend & Make New is a six-week creative repair course that teaches you how to refresh, reinforce, and reimagine your clothing using both subtle and expressive techniques. Through invisible mending, visible patchwork, embroidery, darning, and hybrid redesign, students learn how to assess damage, choose the right materials, and build repairs that are durable and personal.
The class blends practical skill-building with organic, discovery-based learning, encouraging you to explore materials, experiment with stitches, and find your own style of repair. By the end of the series, you will complete a final project that combines multiple techniques and celebrates the character of well-loved garments.
