Dates & Times: 10-4pm Friday 27th MarchLocation: Ymca Lytham, Mythop Road, Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, FY8 4HB
Cost: £50 Includes some materials (stuffing, bear eyes, felt nose & pattern)
You can choose to either use precious fabrics including; baby clothes, school uniform or those of loved one who is no longer here OR you might like to bring along standard fabrics to make a bear that will create their own memories (this could be a practice until your confident enough to tackle precious items)
What you'll learn & make: Develop your confidence using a sewing machine to work with 2D pieces to create 3D forms. Use your own fabrics from ‘meaningful’ garments of your children or loved ones or purchase some of our pretty cottons to create a unique memory bears to treasure forever.
The timings of this workshop should enable you to leave with a finished product but each person will work at a different pace so please be aware you may have tasks to complete at home to finish your bear.
Who is this suitable for: Over 16's- Confident beginner-This course is aimed at those who have sewing experience or have been on a few of our other workshops & would like to extend their skills.
