🇺🇸 Memorial Day Murph – Monroe 🇺🇸Join us this Memorial Day as we come together to honor the fallen through fitness, grit, and community.
Monday, May 25
8:00 AM – Murph Workout
(Breakfast Potluck to follow. Bring a dish/snack to pass.)
“Murph”
For time:
• 1 mile Run
• 100 Pull-ups
• 200 Push-ups
• 300 Squats
• 1 mile Run
Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. If you’ve got a weight vest wear it.
🔥 HYROX Style Murph Option 🔥
For time:
• 1 mile Run
• 100 Wall Balls (14/10)
• 200 Burpees
• 300 Lunges
• 1 mile Run
This workout is performed in memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005. Originally called “Body Armor,” this workout has become a powerful Memorial Day tradition across the country to honor his sacrifice and all those who have given their lives in service.
Options for ALL fitness levels:
• Mini Murph – Half of all reps and running
• Team Murph – Split the reps with a partner, complete the runs together
• Scaled Options Available – Modify movements and/or distance as needed
Whether you’re taking on the full workout, trying the HYROX version, or teaming up with a partner, this event is about pushing yourself while honoring something bigger.
