Death was a constant presence in the Edwardian Age, with figures as illustrious as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Harry Houdini arguing fiercely about whether it was possible to contact the spirit world. In this 90-minute course, we will look at the tools and claims of Spiritualism and consider what the Edwardian age might still be able to teach our own about death, memory, and hope.
