Prepare for International Dark Sky Week, April 21 – 28, by meeting Harrison Smith, a founding member of Alaska Dark Skies, which aims to reduce light pollution in Alaska. After watching a short full-dome movie called Losing the Dark, hear from Harrison about the steps being taken around Anchorage to address light pollution. Discover how you can be an advocate and join the cause. Recommended for ages 15 and up.
Conversations in the Dome combines planetarium programs with local knowledge from community experts.
