Join us for an exhilarating community hike up Bird Ridge, led by Tina Metzger Powers! This 4.4-mile out-and-back trail near Indian, Alaska, is known for its steep climb and breathtaking panoramic views of Turnagain Arm.Trail Details:
📍 Location: Bird Ridge Trailhead, Indian, AK
📏 Distance: 4.4 miles round-trip
📈 Elevation Gain: ~3,400 ft
⏳ Estimated Duration: ~4.5 hours
🥾 Difficulty: Challenging – steep, steady climb
What to Bring:
✔️ Sturdy hiking boots with good grip
✔️ Microspikes (recommended for potential icy patches)
