Afro Cuban Cycle: Elegua
Elegua is an orisha from the Yoruba tradition. He opens and closes the path, and represents the beginning and the end. Our cycle will focus on the dances and rhythms of this orisha, in particular “lumbanse”.
Learn to dance of one of the most popular and common of the Afro Cuban dances. The movements are frequently portrayed in performances and choreographies of popular on2 and Cuban dancers. Come level up your dancing and groove with us to some Elegua! 🙌🏻
