For the first time ever! Melinda and James bring their individual reading perspectives together to expand and deepen individual readings in front of a group. Write down a question, drop it in a bowl, and settle in for an hour of insightful interpretation with these two seasoned readers who deliver messages of divine guidance with truth and sacred levity. Participants will be able to choose which deck Melinda & James read from — selected from their combined personal collections. Followed by a Q&A.

Melinda Lee Holm is an author and tarot scholar with over thirty years of experience in the magickal arts. She is the author of Your Tarot Guide, Tarot of Tales, Your Magickal Year, and Elemental Power Tarot, as well as the co-author of Divine Your Dinner. Her writing has appeared in Air/Light Magazine, Watkins Mind Body Spirit Magazine, SheKnows.com, HelloGiggles.com, and Stylist UK. Her sixth book, Language of Tarot, is due out in fall 2026 from Red Wheel/Weiser Books.

Melinda has read tarot for people all over the world including GZA of Wu Tang Clan and Buddhist leader Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche (Khyentse Norbu). She holds a MFA in creative writing and a BA in Art History. Melinda has been featured in Vogue, InStyle, WWD, Condé Nast Traveler, and the Hollywood Reporter. She hails from Minnesota and lives in Los Angeles.

James Jude is a professional Tarot reader, scholar and Jungian spiritual coach-in-training who uses Tarot as a reflective tool for insight, self-discovery, and empowered personal growth. Known for his empathic presence, he creates supportive spaces where clients can access their inner wisdom and move forward with clarity.

He is an in-house reader at TarotArts in South Pasadena and the Philosophical Research Society in Los Feliz. In 2025, James founded the Los Angeles Festival of Tarot, bringing together respected international voices to celebrate and explore the divinatory arts. He hosts Tarot Talk Show, an online series presented by Laetitia Barbier that uses Tarot as a framework for thoughtful conversations with artists, scholars, and practitioners; he explores similar themes through his published writing and on his Substack, Auguries Unfolding. Alongside his spiritual work, he is an award-winning Unit Publicist in film and television; his background in storytelling and creative collaboration informs his grounded, intuitive style.

In fall 2026, he and Bel Senlle will co-facilitate workshops at The College of Psychic Studies in London and lead an exclusive class at the British Museum's Department of Prints and Drawings.

REFUND POLICIES

All sales are final. There are no refunds for PRS events , except in the event of a medical emergency, including but not limited to a positive COVID-19 test. Ticket exchanges may be granted on a case by case basis, pending circumstances.

In the event that PRS is forced to cancel an event entirely, tickets will be refunded or vouchers offered for a rescheduled event.

PARKING

Limited parking is available onsite at PRS in both the front lot (entry from Los Feliz Blvd. when heading east) and back lot (entry from first alley way, off Griffith Park Blvd. from intersection with Los Feliz Blvd.), as well as street parking on Griffith Park Blvd. and (after 7 PM) on Los Feliz Blvd. We encourage attendees to consider carpooling, walking or biking to events if possible, and please be considerate of our Los Feliz neighbors when parking.

PRS EVENT POLICIES

• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
• Events are subject to change without notice, including guest speakers and/or performers.
• We encourage you to arrive at least 30 min. before the scheduled event start time to find parking, enjoy the Bookstore and take your seats.
• Please turn off all mobile devices before the show. Talking and texting are not allowed during the events.
• No filming, audio recording or mobile phone recording of events, screenings, concerts or other programs by audience members is allowed without permission.
• There is no smoking permitted on PRS grounds.
• We strongly encourage guests to wear masks to PRS events to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
• PRS allows Service Animals into the facility under ADA and state guidelines. For further details please visit www.ADA.gov. No animals permitted whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support, under ADA guidelines and CA Health Code.
• Please do not bring outside food or drink into PRS events.
• Weapons are strictly prohibited at PRS events.
