Patient 13

Patient 13 is a solo, true story, critically-acclaimed dark comedy which has recieved rave reviews in New York City and Los Angeles, and is headed to the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Fiercely independent in NYC but up for adventure, Gail faces a scary medical diagnosis that leads to her participation in a magic mushroom-driven FDA study to cure her body, mind and soul. With boundaries down and anxiety up, she rides a trippy rollercoaster of bad advice, mixed messages, self-discovery and healing. "I got rid of all the toxic people and there was no one left."
Shocking, fast moving and hilarious, Patient 13 has a three-act structure, running 55-60 minutes. The show moves quickly, starting with a fun but dysfunctional "un-relationship" complicated by a scary diagnoses, a bully doctor, and conflux of family, friends, and self awareness. Finally, Gail relives her participation in a ground-breaking FDA-approved study that gives to cancer survivors with anxiety and depression.
