A Workshop Shaped Like a Play

If a TED Talk and The Rocky Horror Picture Show had a baby, it would look like "Meet Your Hormones" - a live, interactive hormone education experience: all the laughter, costumes and audience participation, none of the bawdiness, and a whole lot of insight into the hormones that run women's lives. Told in two acts, the show follows one woman, our hero, as her hormones take the stage as fully realized characters, funny, quirky and finally understood.

Act I: Our Hero & The Hormonal Hierarchy

Meet our hero and each of tonight's hormones, then watch their dynamics shift through a typical menstrual cycle, with a few real-life plot twists courtesy of the audience.

Act II: Rewiring: Perimenopause through Post-Menopause

Our hero's hormonal changes unfold through what we call the Hormonal Hand-Off, carrying her from perimenopause to post-menopause, and the research and possibilities of this incredible chapter of her life. The finale offers a chance to appreciate all a woman's hormones do, followed by a brief talk-back with Nancy, as time allows.

Nancy spent 27 years as a trusted and beloved middle school teacher before bringing that same gift for teaching to women's hormone health as a Fast Like a Girl™ certified fasting coach, trained under Dr. Mindy Pelz. Through that training, she came to understand the personalities of women's hormones and how they interact with one another - information she wished she'd had while growing up as well as during her menopausal years. Drawing on her background as a drama teacher and improv actor, Nancy turned that missing education into something fun, interactive and unforgettable, and Meet Your Hormones was born. She is the founder of KetoSouls, an online community for women's health and happiness. In addition to leading "Meet Your Hormones" workshops, she accepts a handful of women for private coaching, to help them learn when and what to eat to support their hormones and tap into their bodies' natural healing potential.
