Meet the Winemaker: Laurent and Thomas Champs of Champagne Vilmart

Join us for a very special opportunity to try an incredible range of Champagnes from an estate that has been close to our hearts from day one, Champagne Vilmart.

Based in the village of Rilly in the north of the Montagne de Reims, they have been pioneers of organic farming long before it was trendy, and have been barrel ageing of the base wines of their top cuvées before the Burgundian style was popularised in Champagne.

In a region better known for its big commercial brands, Vilmart exemplify all that is exciting about the grower revolution, and what makes artisanal Champagne so thrilling to drink.

There is an exceptional line up of cuvées on tasting, from consistently delicious non-vintage wines through to stand out vintage bottlings, not forgetting their tightly wound rosé Cuvée Rubis, and their extravagant prestige expression, Emotion.

We are so excited to welcome Laurent and his son Thomas to our Theatre.

Tickets are sadly limited, so reserve a spot now.

Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste six to eight wines on a theme, and bread, cheese, and charcuterie are provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
