Have you ever wondered why a certain photo won an award in The Friends of Prime Hook Photo Contest? Do you wonder what you could do to improve your chances of winning?
Seasoned photographers/judges Warren Bouton, Deb Payette, and Ed Norman will discuss the criteria they'll be using when sorting through the numerous entries for this year's Friends' photo contest. This is an opportunity for you learn about what makes a winning photo—image quality, composition, story-telling ability, WOW factor— and to ask questions about how to improve your photos.
Because the majority of past contest entries have been in the Birds and Other Wildlife categories, we will be spending time on the specific things that make for great wildlife photos.
Note, this is not a session on the technical aspect of taking great wildlife photos. For that information, why not join Ed Norman on Saturday the 6th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM for his seminar on bird and wildlife photography. Bring a lunch and make a day of it!
