Nicole is a Registered Midwife and the Founder of the Early Career Midwife Network (ECMN), a growing national platform dedicated to supporting student and early-career midwives through the transition into practice.

Having experienced the transition from student midwife to newly qualified midwife herself, Nicole is passionate about improving the support, education, and sense of belonging available to those entering the profession. Through the ECMN, she is developing a national peer-support network alongside webinars, educational sessions and collaborative work with universities, organisations, and maternity professionals.

Nicole is particularly passionate about preceptorship, professional development, confidence-building and creating meaningful opportunities for early-career midwives to have their voices heard. Her work focuses on bridging the gap between student education and clinical practice, while encouraging a culture where newly qualified midwives feel supported to develop, question, lead and thrive.
