About this Event

Liberty are offering paid apprenticeships starting September this year, and this event is your chance to meet the team, learn how to apply and stand out.

These events are for ForHousing tenants aged 16+ who meet apprenticeship criteria. All eligible tenants will be guaranteed an interview.


Roles available:

  • Joiner – Level 2, 6 roles based in Salford
  • Electrician – Level 3, 4 roles based in Salford
  • Gas – Level 3, 1 role based in Liverpool
  • Plumber – Level 2, 1 role based in Salford
  • Bricklayer – Level 2, 1 role based in Salford
  • Roofer – Level 2, 1 role based in Salford
  • Plasterer – Level 2, 1 role based in Salford


At the session you will learn:

  • What apprenticeships involve and what you will learn
  • How Liberty recruits and what they value
  • Interview tips to help you feel prepared for an interview
  • How to express your interest directly


What do I need to have to be able to apply?

All apprentices must be aged 16 or over:

  • For 16–18-year-olds: a Level 4 (Grade C or above) in English and Maths, or Functional Skills Level 2, is required.
  • For learners aged 19+: a Level 2 in English and Maths is required. (However, for Electrical and
  • Gas apprenticeships, Liberty still requires a Level 4 (Grade C or above) or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths.)
  • Apprentices must be living in England or Wales and not in full-time education.
  • You will need an up-to-date CV and cover letter.
