Meet the Doulas- Sebastopol Library

We will have a short educational talk followed by time to ask questions and share. Then we will have time to mingle, snack, meet the doulas one on one, and connect with other pregnant families.

We are organizing this event as a service to Sonoma County families who are preparing to welcome a new baby, but you don't have to be pregnant or trying to conceive- anyone who is interested is welcome!

• you're interested in hiring a doula and want to meet some in person without the hassle of long internet searches and arranging individual interviews
• you're curious about undisturbed/natural/physiological birth
• you aren't sure what a doula does
• you haven't thought much about the type of birth you want
• you are passionate about birth and want to meet others who are too!

We ask that you be responsible for guiding them to not disturb whatever is happening and remove them from the room if necessary. We will have a small selection of toys and a kids area for them to enjoy.

Parking is limited. There is a public lot off of N High Street, but we recommend you leave extra time to look for street parking if it is full.

The Library and Meeting Room are both ADA accessible.

Come late/leave early if needed, just be mindful as you enter and exit the room.

We will have chairs, but you are welcome to bring whatever else you need to be comfortable- cushions or blankets for the floor, toys and activities for kids (NO NOISE MAKING TOYS PLEASE!), etc.

Bring a cup for tea if you would like to help us use less disposables!
