Meet the Bees
We will be learning about bees, honey, beeswax and the important role pollinators play in our food, flowers, gardens and seasonal way of living.
This is part of our Thriving with the Seasons project, where we are reconnecting with the old knowledge that helped people live more closely with nature, growing food, using seasonal plants, understanding the land and remembering that we are part of something much bigger.
Bees are a huge part of that story. They support biodiversity, food growing and the natural cycles that so many traditional practices depend on.
This will be a gentle, interesting and accessible session, suitable for anyone who wants to learn more about bees, nature, growing, heritage and why protecting pollinators matters.
