About this Event

Join us for a special Thriving with the Seasons session with Roof Top Bees at Cherrytree Community Library in Blackburn.

This session will introduce you to the world of bees, including how honey and beeswax are made, how bees support our food systems, and why pollinators are so important for gardens, growing, biodiversity and seasonal living.

As part of Thriving with the Seasons, we are exploring the old seasonal knowledge that used to be part of everyday life, growing food, understanding plants, using what nature provides, and living more closely with the rhythms of the year.

Bees have always been part of this story. They are central to pollination, food growing, wildflowers, herbs, fruit, vegetables and the wider health of our environment. This session is a chance to learn more, ask questions and reconnect with the natural systems that support us.

This event is suitable for adults who are interested in nature, bees, growing, heritage, sustainability, wellbeing or simply learning something new in a friendly community setting.
