About the Artist & Practice
Tiffany Matos is an American-born visual artist based in Luxembourg. Working across painting, photography, sculpture, and video, her practice creates meditative spaces that invite the viewer to contemplate memory, peacefulness, and the passage of time. Her work explores the tension between preservation and impermanence through the transformation of natural materials. Utilizing processes of drying, painting, and resin encapsulation, she constructs works that suspend organic elements in time—oscillating between life and fossilization.
