Programme background

AI is changing how we wor but becoming AI-literate is not about memorising technical terminology or mastering one particular platform.

It is about understanding what AI can do, knowing when it should - and should not - be used, and having the confidence to transfer your skills between different tools and workplaces.

In this three-session programme, you will begin by creating something yourself. You will then learn how AI works, explore the rules and responsibilities surrounding its use, and finish by designing and testing a simple, responsible AI assistant.

No coding experience or technical background is required.

Participation in all 3 sessions is mandatory.

Programme overview

Session 1 - 17/09-26 - Explore and Create

Build and test a simple browser-based prototype and discover how AI can support real workplace tasks.

Session 2 (Online) - 24/09/26 - AI Foundations, Vocabulary and Responsible Use

Learn the essentials of AI, prompting, verification, GDPR, confidentiality, the EU AI Act and responsible workplace use.

Session 3 - 28/09/26 - Build a Responsible AI Assistant

Turn your first prototype into a simple AI-enabled workflow with clear guardrails, human oversight and testing.
