“From an early age caring for elderly people has always been close to my heart. My mum worked in domiciliary care, and when I joined Alex Wood House as a Care Assistant at 18 years old, I knew this was my calling in life. ☺️
Throughout the years at the home, I have obtained my NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care and Leadership and Management - and am currently studying for my Level 5 Diploma too.😁
After nearly 20 years at Alex Wood House, I have progressed from Senior Care Assistant to Lead Practitioner and now Deputy Manager. In my role, I fully appreciate my responsibility to all our residents, their families, and our wider community. 🤗
I am extremely proud to help lead such an amazing team and to continually strive for the highest standards, ensuring that our residents receive outstanding, person-centred care every single day! ❤️
