Spend a Saturday exploring the magic of cyanotype with artist and printmaker Susie Turner @st_printroom
Susie will be here on 27 June for a hands-on workshop inspired by the rich decorative details of David Parr House and its garden. Come along and book your place via link in bio
Working with natural materials, drawings and photographic elements inspired by the house, you’ll learn how to create beautiful Prussian blue prints using one of photography’s earliest printing techniques.
Suitable for complete beginners, this small-group workshop will guide you through coating paper, creating compositions and exposing your prints using daylight and UV light.
Experiment with pressed plants, found objects, lace and photographic negatives to produce a unique collection of cyanotypes to take home.
With just eight places available, this is a rare opportunity to spend a creative day making, experimenting and finding inspiration in the house and garden.
Lunch from Norfolk Street Bakery and all materials are included.
