About the books:
Sofia's Monster
How far will one clever girl go when she wants to play outside and Dad wants to stay in? When a monster suddenly stomps into their apartment, Daddy and Sofia must figure out exactly what kind of monster they're facing and what they're going to do about it! Sofia's Monster is a heartwarming children's picture book that celebrates the power of imagination and the special bond between a parent and child.
*Sofia's Monster has been nominated to represent North Dakota at the 2027 Library of Congress National Book Festival - and you can vote! Stop by to learn more!*
The Red Ball
The Red Ball captures the universal experience of losing (and finding!) something precious. It uses simple language and a familiar scenario to encourage young readers to participate in the search, build problem-solving skills and foster a sense of shared discovery. Perfect for ages 0-3, this story celebrates how empathy, even in small moments, brings us closer together.
