Meet Bob Stanley at Waterstones Manchester Deansgate

We are delighted to welcome music journalist and Saint Etienne star Bob Stanley to Deansgate, signing copies of The Shadows: The Definitive Story.
Writing not only as a music historian but as a lifelong fan, Stanley's book rightly places the band in the pantheon of all time British greats who changed music forever. Featuring a foreword by Cliff Richard, this is the story of how a group of working-class boys from Newcastle upon Tyne became the biggest act in the UK before the Beatles revolution of 1963.
Bob joins us ahead of the Manchester stop on Saint Etienne's farewell tour, to sign copies of his latest work.
Each booked ticket will receive a copy of the new hardback which will be signed and dedicated by Bob. Walk-ins on the day of the event are welcome, but we would suggest booking a ticket to secure your copy.
