Meet Andy Leman, Head Brewer at Timothy Taylor’s
About this Event
This is your chance to hear directly from one of the people behind the beer, learn more about the brewing process and discover what makes a great cask ale.
The story behind Timothy Taylor’s
Timothy Taylor’s story began in 1858, when Timothy Taylor opened a brewery on Cook Lane in Keighley, West Yorkshire. Just five years later, the brewery moved to Knowle Spring, its home ever since.
The brewery remains family owned and independent, with its Yorkshire roots and commitment to quality continuing to shape the beers it produces today. Its flagship beer, Landlord, was created in 1952 and has gone on to become one of Britain’s most awarded cask ales.
With more than 165 years of brewing heritage behind it, Timothy Taylor’s continues to focus on traditional cask ale, using carefully selected ingredients and the natural water from the Knowle Spring beneath the brewery.
