Making friends in Vancouver can be hard but it doesn’t have to be!

Come hang out in the Blue Room at Gordon Neighbourhood House for a chill afternoon of making stuff, chatting, and meeting new people. No pressure, or structure, just show up and get ready to make stuff and socialize!

There’ll be art supplies, blank letters, colorful envelopes, postcards (designed and blank), fun paper, stickers, prompts, and stamps. Grab a seat, chat if you'd like, and make something tangible to send to someone you care about.

You’ll leave with 1–2 postcards or a letter ready to go, plus (hopefully) a few new connections.

Snail mail is such a simple unexpected surprise that can make someone’s day, plus you get a little dopamine hit just from sending it.

Making a new friend and sending mail is basically double dopamine! ✨✨

Hey I’m Victoria! I’ve lived and worked in Vancouver for 11 years and have been hosting creative events for a while now. I started Dopamine Mail Club to explore joy and share that with people through mail to make their day a little brighter.

I know what it feels like to need something special to look forward to, and I love creating spaces where people can connect in a real way.
