Medtronic DBS presentation at FFC's Parkinson's Support Group

Join us for our Parkinson’s Peer & Caregiver Support Group on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 11am as we welcome Amber Johnson from Medtronic for a special presentation on deep brain stimulation (DBS).

Medtronic is the originator and world leader in DBS. For more than 30 years, they have served over 200,000 people worldwide with this life changing therapy. DBS works much like a cardiac pacemaker, but for the brain, and is an established, safe, and effective option for people living with Parkinson’s disease, movement disorders, and epilepsy.

This session is a great opportunity to learn how DBS can help restore steadiness, improve daily function, and bring renewed confidence to individuals living with Parkinson’s.
