❤️ Update: *Wear red in support American Heart Month, which raises awareness of coronary heart disease and promotes heart-healthy living. National Wear Red Day on Feb. 6 coordinates with the monthlong effort.
Join Reid Health in celebrating American Heart Month as Erika Millsaps shares tips on heart health, risk factors, screenings, and prevention. Millsaps is our Manager of Clinical Education for Nursing Excellence, Resilience & Development (NERD).
Medical Monday's Community Spotlight will feature Renee Westover, Executive Director of Birth to Five.
Sharrie Harlin, Manager of Community Engagement for Reid Health, started Medical Monday when she worked for the Minority Health Coalition and maintained it after joining Reid. Thriving Thursday was added later, and both events have loyal followings, averaging 40 to 50 guests each month. The events are supported by Reid Health Community Engagement.
