About This Hybrid Retreat:
• The teacher will present in-person at the Dharma Center.
Participants may attend this Hybrid event via Zoom or in-person at the Dharma Center.
• Pre-registration is required and we recommend you pay the registration fee in advance using the registration button shown below. Since your registration choice indicates if you’ll be attending via Zoom or in-person, registering early helps us determine how many people the meditation room should accommodate.

Registration is $25.00 per person due before the start of the event. If you are able and interested in further supporting SIM financially, you have the option of a registration fee of either $35 or $50 dollars however no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

DIANE WILDE has studied meditation in various traditions since 1990. In 2001 she was a founding member of Sacramento Insight Meditation. She founded Buddhist Pathways Prison Project (aka Boundless Freedom Project) in 2010 and has been a prison chaplain for 21 years. Along with teaching in prisons, she also teaches at retreats for “returning citizens.” She is a graduate of Sati Center’s Buddhist Chaplaincy program, Spirit Rock Meditation Center’s Community Dharma Leadership Training Program and in 2015 was lay-ordained as a Buddhist minister by her teacher, Gil Fronsdal. Gil gave her the Pali name “Vimuttipala”, which means “Defender of Freedom.” She is a board member of Sati Center for Buddhist Studies located in Redwood City.
