About this Event
Yoga Nidra meditation is a practice of Pratyahara, the 5th limb of Yoga. This practice allows us to quite our sensory experience and tap into our subconcious with ease. I will guide you through a body-scan practice that invites the release of awareness in that area of the body. As your awareness shifts from your external experience to the internal, the right hemisphere brain will be activated and new neural pathways will be built and reinforced to support you in releasing thought patterns that no longer serve you while building those that will lead to joy, ease, and attainment of your dreams. I invite you to join me afterwards for a cup of tea as you reflect on your experience. Yoga Nidra is a profound practice and is exceptionally suited for those dealing with chronic & acute stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, chronic pain, addiction, ADHD, and grief/loss.
PLEASE BRING: yoga mat, 2 pillows, light weight blanket. Studio has some loaners.
