SHINE, which stands for Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders, is a free program dedicated to helping you make the best Medicare choices for your unique situation. Our specially trained volunteer counselors offer:

• Free and Unbiased Guidance: Our mission is to educate you, not sell you a product. SHINE counselors are not affiliated with any insurance company or agency, and they never recommend or sell any type of insurance. You get the facts, so you can make an informed decision.
• Personalized Plan Comparisons: We'll help you look at your current coverage, review any changes for the upcoming year, and compare all your options—including costs, coverage, and prescription drugs—to find the plan that truly meets your needs and budget.
• Confidential and Trusted Support: SHINE is a federally funded program, and all counseling is private and confidential. You can trust our volunteers to help you navigate this complex process with integrity.
