COAST presents MedakaFest 2026 in collaboration with with L.F.S. partner SEASIDE AQUATICS and the American Medaka Association (A.M.A.), hosted at Seaside Aquatics' parking lot from 10-6 pm PST.
This is our second annual MedakaFest after hosting the first MedakaFest with LFS partner Nolan's Aquarium Co. in 2025. Medaka ricefish are truly a beautiful and underrated fish in the aquarium hobby that will continue to grow and inspire newer generations of hobbyists for years to come.
While being known as "MedakaFest", this outdoor swap meet event is actually for all pondkeepers and outdoor fish enthusiasts alike. We will be featuring goldfish and koi vendors, medaka vendors, aquarium brands, numerous artists, and we will host a "Best in Show" contest award for medaka for the first time this year.
We will be bringing out @haynfishkeeper as our emcee and host again for MedakaFest 2026! We will also have @theponddigger hosting his live podcast, as well as Shawn McHenry of @mystickoi as a vendor and judge at our event!
