Meatless Monday and Community Día de los Muertos Ofrenda

Come share a meatless meal, enjoy community and conversation, and help us begin building the ofrenda altar together.
If possible, let's try to make food central to Mexico....
Bring something that represents someone you would like remembered:
• A photo of a loved one or ancestor who has died
• Photos of beloved pets are welcome, too
• A small personal object or memento that reminds you of them
• A written name, memory, prayer or message if you don't have a photograph
• handmade offerings for the altar
no food or alcohol please unless it's fake!
On Sunday November 1 at regular service, we can honor children who have passed.
On Monday November 2 will have a craft night and make frames for ancestor photos. Please bring additional photos with you (I will create an event for this as a reminder.)
On Tuesday November 3 we will close our observance and disassemble the altar, we will have a brief ceremony or prayer or music., perhaps a drum circle? (I will create an event for this as a reminder.)
