📚✨ MCSTOYA Connects: Neurodivergent Reads
What happens when educators come together around books, conversation, and a shared commitment to understanding neurodivergent learners?
Join us this summer for MCSTOYA Connects: Neurodivergent Reads, a flexible professional learning experience designed for educators who want to read, reflect, and connect.
📖 Part 1: An “À La Carte” Book Club
Choose from our suggested book list and read what speaks to you. You decide how much you want to read, whether you buy or borrow your book, and how deeply you want to engage before our gathering on August 12.
🌿 Part 2: One-Day Gathering
🗓 August 12 | 9:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
📍 Colby College
Spend the day connecting with fellow educators through:
📚 Book discussions
🎤 Featured guest speakers Stephanie Vansoest and Kim Leo
🛠 Workshop sessions focused on supporting neurodivergent learners
Participants will also receive:
📖 An additional book for their classroom
🎓 A certificate for 19 contact hours
Come read alongside colleagues, learn from one another, and leave with new ideas for creating more inclusive and affirming learning spaces.
