Come join us for a fun morning exploring one of Austin’s most beautiful state parks at McKinney Falls State Park!
We’ll start with a relaxed hike, exploring some of the trails and scenery before heading down to the water at Upper Falls to swim, hang out, and enjoy the "beach"
This spot has shallow areas, deeper swimming holes, and is also known for cliff/rock jumping (optional - everyone moves at their own comfort level).
📍 Meet: McKinney Falls State Park (Upper Falls area)
🕙 10:30am
Bring:
✔️ Water + plenty of hydration
✔️ Snacks / lunch
✔️ Sunscreen
✔️ Swimsuit + towel
✔️ Water shoes (highly recommended - rocks can be slippery)
✔️ Life vest (recommended, especially for kids who are jumping or just want extra safety)
A few important notes:
🌿 We’ll start with a hike and explore the trails before heading to the water
🌿 Rocks around the falls can be VERY slippery - take your time moving around
🌿 Life vests are strongly encouraged for kids who are jumping or not strong swimmers as it does get deep;
🌿 Everyone is responsible for their own comfort level around water and jumping areas
