Join us for our biggest-ever annual potluck and salad bar class — and one big, beautiful Zentangle® adventure!
This year’s project is a maze, not a labyrinth. While a labyrinth offers one path in and one path out, a maze invites choices, pauses, turns, discoveries, and unexpected little detours along the way. On a rich Renaissance tan Opus tile, we’ll build an epic journey through pattern, contrast, texture, and shadow.
Using the dramatic art concept of chiaroscuro — the play of light and dark — we’ll explore how highlights, shadows, shading, and tonal contrast can bring depth and dimension to a neutral surface.
This project combines the warmth of Renaissance materials with the meditative rhythm of tangling, creating a tile that feels both structured and full of possibility.
Bring your appetite, a dish to share and your sense of adventure. We’ll provide the Opus tile, all supplies, instruction, and a Tangled Sisters original maze.
This is a long class and we've built in time for breaks and plenty of time for our annual Potluck and Salad Bar in our spacious, well-lit studio!
Pre-requisite: Zentangle Beginner Class with a Certified Zentangle Teacher
