Maze of Light and Shade is our 5th Annual Salad Bar Art Day — and this year, we’re going BIG.
This full-day Zentangle® experience is designed around one of our favorite things: giving you enough time, space, instruction, food, laughter, and creative breathing room to actually finish a major project.
We’ll be working on a Renaissance tan Opus tile — a generous 10.5" x 10.5" surface — as we create a tangled maze filled with choices, pathways, contrast, and the beautiful play of light and shadow.
Unlike a labyrinth, which offers one way in and one way out, a maze invites options. Which path will you take? Where will your tangles lead? What happens when light, shade, structure, and surprise meet on one beautiful tile?
Because this is a big project, we’ve made it a full-day event:
9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a morning coffee break, our beloved salad bar lunch break, and an afternoon dessert break.
This is not a rush-through-it class. This is a settle-in, enjoy-the-day, tangle-with-friends, and finish-something-beautiful kind of day.
Join us in our spacious, well-lit studio with your appetite and your sense of adventure. We provide the greens, proteins and dressings; please bring a side dish, appetizer or dessert to share.
Class kit contains everything you need to complete this beautiful tile.
