What is the Mayor's Accelerated Housing Programme?
The Mayor's Accelerated Housing Programme (MAHP) is an innovative council-led initiative to deliver up to 3,300 new homes across at least 42 sites in Tower Hamlets. One of the most ambitious affordable housing programmes led by a local authority in England, it presents significant opportunities for partners to help deliver high-quality, affordable homes for local communities.
What's the event about?
Via a competitive bidding process, we're seeking a partner to work with us to deliver the first 340 homes across nine housing development sites. Join us for an informative afternoon featuring:
- Welcome and keynote speeches, including Councillor Saied Ahmed, Cabinet Member for Homebuilding and Enhancing Council Homes and Neighbourhoods
- An overview of the Mayor's Accelerated Housing Programme, including future opportunities
- Procurement and bidding guidance
