This 4 week course is for those hoping to give birth at The Royal London Hospital. One ticket will cover both of you and when you book you are booked into all four weeks of the course.

Please cancel your ticket promptly if you no longer need it to enable other couples the opportunity to book into a course.

Course content will include but is not exclusive:

• Birth settings, preparing for birth, discuss breathing and relaxation and ideas for how your support person may be able to help you
• Physiology of labour and birth, coping strategies, positions that may help, when to leave home and how to travel
• Deviations from physiological labour, choices surrounding induction of labour, instrumental delivery and cesarian
• Methods of pain relief available should it be required
• What to expect in the postnatal period; postnatal care and recovery and care of the newborn, including safe sleeping recommendations
