Mayor Mark Saliba and the City of Dothan invite the community to join in celebrating Black History Month at the annual Mayoral Black History Month Luncheon. This year’s event will take place on Thursday, February 5th, at 11:30 AM at Calvary Baptist Church's Fellowship Center, located at 901 Montezuma Avenue, here in Dothan.
The luncheon is an anticipated tradition in Dothan, bringing together citizens to honor and reflect on the invaluable contributions of African Americans to our society and community. This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Randall Woodfin, Mayor of Birmingham, Alabama.
Tickets for the luncheon are $20 per person and can be purchased online at www.tixr.com/dcc. Seating is limited, and early reservations are encouraged to secure your spot at this meaningful event.
“Black History Month is a time to celebrate, educate, and reflect,” said Mayor Saliba. “We are honored to host Mayor Woodfin and invite all citizens to join us for this opportunity to gather as a community and recognize the legacy of Black excellence.”
