The City of Montgomery Parks and Recreation Department is excited to invite teens ages 13–18 to Mayfest, a high energy celebration kicking off the summer season. The event will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gunter Pool, located at 2390 Cong W L Dickinson Drive.For just a $3 cash only cover charge, teens can enjoy a fun filled day featuring a live DJ, exciting games, swimming and water activities, refreshments, and several surprise attractions planned throughout the day.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, attendees must follow the pool's required dress code and entry guidelines:
• Proper swim attire is required for pool entry.
• No jeans, shirts, or cover-ups are allowed in the pool.
• Boys’ swim trunks must include a built-in mesh lining.
• All bags must be clear for entry.
Participants are encouraged to bring towels, sunscreen, and—most importantly—an appetite for fun. Please note that once the maximum pool capacity is reached, no additional participants will be allowed to enter, so early arrival is recommended.
Lifeguards and on-site security staff will be present to promote a safe environment and help ensure all rules are followed.
