Join us for the Grand Opening Weekend of the Muslim Center of Montgomery, a joyful and historic celebration marking the purchase and opening of our new masjid and cetner during Juneteenth Weekend in Montgomery, Alabama.

This major milestone represents years of prayer, perseverance, and collective community effort. Throughout the weekend, attendees can expect an atmosphere of celebration, gratitude, and togetherness as we gather in a new space dedicated to worship, learning, youth development, and service.

The weekend is centered on the theme “Honoring the Women Who Sustain Community Life,” uplifting the women whose faith, leadership, and labor have been foundational to building and sustaining our community.

In addition to celebratory gatherings, participants will have the opportunity to visit Equal Justice Initiative historical sites, connecting the joy of this moment with reflection on Juneteenth, justice, resilience, and Montgomery’s powerful history.
