About the Facilitator - Ian Olsson

lan has been a full-time professional photographer for twenty years, qualified by the British Institute of Professional Photography. Having a childhood in numerous countries from Bahrain and Brunei, to Turkey and Thailand inspired a love for travel and photography. Ian now lives in Cambridge with his wife, twins and cockapoo. He enjoys capturing a wide range of subjects, from weddings and events to theatre, corporate headshots and showcasing small independent businesses.

lan has been working with Indie Cambridge, who set up to champion SMEs and sole traders to show the diversity there is in Cambridge and to create a real community. lan is the principle photographer and loves working with local people to showcase their businesses and talents. Indie Cambridge now has a successful membership program and print run of 5000 magazines delivered locally twice a year, full of lan's photos, many of which are taken on a phone!
