Matt Landon is a gifted guitarist, educator, and songwriter from Burlington, and is excited to be back in his hometown! Being most accomplished as a jazz guitarist, Landon has performed alongside John Patitucci, Joey DeFrancesco, Donny McCaslin, Chris Potter, Fred Hersch, Joel Frahm, Jeff Hamilton, Dave Liebman, and many more jazz masters.After earning his Bachelor’s of Music in Jazz Studies at Western Michigan University in 2012, Landon placed third in the 2013 Montreux Jazz Festival International Jazz Guitar Competition; was a semi-finalist in the 2015 Wes Montgomery International Guitar Competition; and placed second in the 2017 and 2018 Wilson Center Jazz Guitar Competitions. Outside of the jazz realm, Landon is an avid singer-songwriter and performer of popular music from many eras and genres.
Landon enjoys teaching private lessons and masterclasses, covering the topics of harmony, theory, improvisation, composition, repertoire, and general musicianship. Landon earned a Master’s of Music degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado, where he held a teaching assistantship, coaching small groups, co-directing Lab Band II, and teaching improvisation and private lessons. He has had the pleasure of being on faculty at his alma mater, Western Michigan University, for the last five years teaching jazz guitar, combos and various theory and improv classes.

Emma Reynolds is a vocalist and music educator from the West Coast. She earned her BM in Jazz Studies with an emphasis in vocal performance from Cal State Long Beach in 2016, during which she began teaching and performing in the LA/Orange County areas.
Emma co-created, arranged/composed for, and performed in multiple groups during her time in Southern California including The San Andreas Sisters - an Andrews Sisters-inspired female vocal trio performing jazz classics from the swing era. She also co-created Em & Em Duo, a contemporary group performing original tunes. Em & Em recorded their second album, "You Are" with a full band during the pandemic, and released it in May, 2021.
