Unlocking the next era of materials innovation through Artificial Intelligence
About this Event

The Henry Royce Institute is hosting an one‑day showcase exploring the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in materials science on Thursday 19 March in Manchester.

The emerging concept of Materials 4.0, in which digital methods are embedded to accelerate the discovery, design, manufacturing and lifecycle management of materials, is a key opportunity to accelerate materials impact. AI will be vital tool to deliver this step‑change across all areas of the materials value chain.

The event will bring together academia, research organisations and industry to highlight current capabilities, share best practice and explore future opportunities for the application of AI in materials science. The programme will feature invited speakers alongside opportunities for short, contributed talks.
