Join us for a unique, adults-only, hands-on workshop where art, culture, and tea come together. This special 3-hour Taste & Create experience begins with Marlene from Sips Global Teas, followed by guided clay creation with Color Me Mine’s ceramic experts.

Learn how authentic Japanese matcha is prepared, whisked, and enjoyed in traditional tea ceremonies.
• The Meaning of Matcha Ceramics
Discover why the chawan (matcha bowl) and accompanying tea ware are essential elements of the ceremony — from symbolism and seasonal variations to how shape and texture influence the ritual.
• Guided Clay & Decorating Inspiration
Design and create a complete Matcha Tea Set, including:
Matcha bowl (chawan)
Tea cup
Whisk holder
Scoop holder
Explore traditional motifs, seasonal themes, and wabi-sabi aesthetics while expressing your own creativity.
• What You’ll Take Home
After firing, your custom pieces become meaningful keepsakes for your own matcha rituals at home. Each participant will also receive a matcha whisk to complete their set.
