MATC Presents: Chain Reaction
About this Event
Facilitated by artist teacher Zuzanna Niska, you will be guided through an experimental form of mono printing which not only gets your hands dirty, but also engages the rest of your body too, through movement and play.
This workshop is part of the Chain Reaction series starting at Paradise studio, facilitated by Maisie Pritchard, which amplifies the importance of playing and creative flow in the making process. Taking inspiration from an element of Maisie's workshop in which participants used their body weight to squish water out of paper bricks, Zuzanna offers an opportunity to engage your body in a print making process, while having a lot of fun too.
Join us on Thursday 5th November at Castlefield Campus School to move, print and play.
Manchester Artist Teacher Collective (MATC) brings together artist-teachers from secondary schools and colleges across Manchester, alongside gallery educators from Manchester Art Gallery, the Whitworth, and HOME. Together, we collaborate with art educators, local artists, studios, and gallery spaces to enrich creative practice across the city.
Our events are for teachers, artists, and anyone interested in visual art education.
