Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy comes to life through Tchaikovsky’s sweeping orchestral music, from the conflict between two families to one of classical music’s most unforgettable love themes.
💃 Khachaturian | Selections from Gayane
Experience the brilliant rhythms and orchestral color of Aram Khachaturian’s celebrated ballet, including Sabre Dance, Dance of the Rose Maidens, and Lezginka.
🎨 Mussorgsky/Ravel | Pictures at an Exhibition
Journey through an art gallery in sound as Mussorgsky’s musical scenes come alive in Maurice Ravel’s spectacular orchestration. The performance will feature choreographed visuals by artist Adrian Wyard, created to accompany the orchestra live and culminating in the triumphant “Great Gate of Kyiv.”
