Mastering Mother Sauces - Cooking Class

Learn how to make Béchamel, Tomate, and Hollandaise, 3 of the 5 Mother Sauces. You'll also learn some tips and tricks along the way to turn these basic sauces into delicious dishes.

Say it with us: sauces aren’t scary! If you know how to create the Mother Sauces, you can take any dish from basic to bold with just a few additional ingredients. In this virtual class, PLAYTE Kitchen coaches will teach you how to make the most of three of the five “Mother Sauces” by exploring simple techniques and showing how to push the envelope with favorites like Puttanesca and Mac & Cheese.

PLAYTE Kitchen in-person cooking classes are approximately 3 hours in length (2 hours in the kitchen and an hour to enjoy the food you’ve prepared. All guests will be provided kitchen towels, aprons, a class recipe packet to take home, and plenty of foodie fun along the way. A confirmation email will be sent upon ticket purchase will all the info you’ll need to know prior to arriving for your class.
