Introducing Grand Rapids Ballet’s new Masterclass Series!
Our new master class series is bringing some of the best-known names in the dance world to Grand Rapids Ballet for a once in a lifetime opportunity! Learn from the best in the business in a 1.5 hour ballet class followed by an hour of repertory and coaching. Learn choreography from famous works such as West Side Story and world-renowned choreographers such as George Balanchine and Annabelle Lopez-Ochoa.
James Sofranko (Artistic Director, Grand Rapids Ballet) will be hosting our first Masterclass on August 22.
10:00-11:30 ballet class
11:45-12:45 repertory class with choreography from Sofranko’s Yearning
Open to any ballet student age 13-21 with an intermediate to advanced level of training. Class size is limited so please register early. Held on stage at the Grand Rapids Ballet’s Peter Martin Wege Theatre. Observation tickets are also available.
